After writing my blog post Terms And Agreement: Just Click Accept I had an idea for a T-shirt design that I just could not get out of my head. The whole message of the post was that God is so much more than a social media status. People who have nothing to do with God want to post Bible verses on Facebook and Twitter like they have a real relationship with the Lord. When a tragedy strikes our country, they want to throw the term “prayer” around like it’s a football. When Christmas or Easter rolls around, they want to talk about Jesus “being the reason for the season”, but their actions don’t reflect Christ at all.
I’m really not criticizing these people because a lot of them probably don’t know any better. They probably aren’t saved, and it’s our fault as Christians for giving them a false impression of what God and Christianity really are.
God is so much more than a Facebook status. He’s someone who you should spend every single day with, and someone you shouldn’t just talk about in a social media post. Your life should reflect Him on a daily basis, on AND offline.
So I went through with the idea of making a T-shirt. I had the design made, and I couldn’t have been more pleased! Anyone who knows me, knows that I am extremely picky about what I wear. Everything has to look “cool” and be “different”. So if my stamp of approval is on it, then you know it has to be special. I used a company called Zazzle.com to make them for me so I wouldn’t have to worry about taking orders and collecting money. Here is the link so you can check it out and purchase one!
Me and some others at my church, including my preacher, will be going on a mission trip this summer. I decided to have 100% of the profits go directly towards helping us go on this mission trip. Absolutely none of the money will go to me. Everything I make will go directly towards making this mission trip a reality.
If you like the idea, or like what it stands for, please help support me and this mission trip. I’m already beginning to pray that God will use us wherever we go to help spread the gospel. There are so many people that are starving to hear the Word of God, and I pray that we can fill that void.
Why not buy a good looking t-shirt and help support a good cause at the same time? Please help spread the word to whoever you think would like it. Always feel free to re-blog this or post this on Facebook or Twitter. And please follow my blog or sign up to receive my emails! If you look around my blog, I have a feeling you might like it. I’m just a simple dude who writes down what God lays on my heart.

Not totally sure yet. My Sunday School teacher has been talking to some of the missionaries that our church supports. Maybe the Philippines or somewhere in South America. I’m just so ready to go
Yay! That’s exciting!
